Welcome to the Drop the Puck on Cancer fundraising page.  We are a non-profit incorporation sponsor of the Duttine-Cavataio Fund which is designed to "Help local Brentwood Families affected by cancer".

Last year a group of friends created the Duttine-Cavataio Fund in response to the untimely death of two young Brentwood alumni.  They held the Drop the Puck on Cancer Tournament in Brentwood Park, and it turned into a smashing success.  The proceeds directly went to families devastated by the deaths of their loved ones.  This year we are back at it again!
Unfortunately cancer has reared its ugly head again in Brentwood and has affected more young lives in the past year.  Fortunately some have proven stronger, but sadly some did not win their battle.  Our goal is to directly help these families.

This years event will take place on Saturday, March 9th 2013.  An all-day street hockey tournament starting at 8am.
Tickets for great food including lunch from Rowdy BBQ and refreshments will be sold with a delicious Spaghetti Warehouse Spaghetti dinner at 4pm.  A 50/50 raffle, Mario Lemieux Autograph Jersey : Framing by Solar Financial and Sidney Crosby Autograph Jersey : Framing by Treasure Hunt Coins, Great Raffle Baskets, Homemade Goodies in the Bake Sale and an Incredible Chinese auction are included in the days Fun Filled Family Event.
